Trade remedies refers to a set of mechanisms that might correct trade practices that cause or may cause injury to a country's domestic industry.

The trade remedies’ mechanisms were established by the World Trade Organization (responsible for providing legal certainty and stability to the international trade) and is divided into three categories: antidumping, countervailling measures and safeguards.
