It is with great pleasure that we announce Fernanda Sayeg as the new partner of BFSA Trade Law - Borges Furlaneto & Sayeg Advogados.

Fernanda has a Master’s degree and a PhD degree in International Law from the University of São Paulo (USP) and has 20 years of experience in the areas of international trade, customs law and antitrust, having worked in some of the most important law firms in Brazil. She has been recognized as an outstanding lawyer both in Brazil and abroad (Fernanda has been ranked by publications such as Chambers & Partners and Who's Who Legal). Fernanda also teaches international law and trade law in MBA and post-graduation courses at the USP Law School in Ribeirão Preto, at Fundação Escola de Comércio Álvares Pentado (FECAP), and at the University of São Caetano do Sul (USCS). Additionally, she is the author of several articles and books such as “O Brasil e o Contencioso na OMC” and “Comércio de Serviços, OMC e Desenvolvimento”. She was a panelist appointed by the Brazilian government at the World Trade Organization (WTO) from 2017 to 2020.
