On October 19, 2023, the Brazilian government initiated two public consultations, namely: (i) public consultation on an eventual agreement between Mercosur and the United Arab Emirates; and (i) public consultation on the expansion and deepening of the Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) between Mercosur and India.

This is an excellent opportunity for companies and class entities to present their considerations regarding these eventual trade agreements, indicating, for instance, sensible products that should not be included in the agreements, products that would benefit from trade liberalization non-tariff barriers do Brazilian exporters face in these markets.
